About Michael Lacey
GOD, Family, Country
I am Michael Lacey and I am running to be your Wyoming County Commissioner, I was born and raised in South Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, I am a proud graduate of Meyers High School. My commitment to education led me to earn a Bachelor of Science degree from King's College in 1981, followed by a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy in 1983.
For seventeen and a half years, I owned and operated Nocchi's Pharmacy in Freeland, Pennsylvania, serving the community from 1995 to 2012. Throughout my career as a pharmacist, I have been dedicated to helping others, building relationships, and improving the health and well-being of the people I serve.
Over the years, I have called several communities home, including Dallas, Pennsylvania (1986–2013), Blanco County, Texas (2013–2020), and Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania, where I have resided since 2020. Since returning to Pennsylvania, I have worked as a pharmacist at Rite Aid in Tunkhannock while continuing to serve the residents of Wyoming County with professionalism, compassion, and integrity.
My life has been guided by a strong Christian faith, which serves as the foundation for my values, decisions, and commitment to serving others. I believe in the importance of faith, personal responsibility, hard work, and treating others with dignity and respect. These principles have shaped both my personal and professional life.
As a proud American, I hold deep patriotic values and a profound appreciation for the freedoms and opportunities our nation provides. I believe in preserving the principles that have made our country strong, including individual liberty, limited government, fiscal responsibility, and support for our communities and families.
Above all, I cherish my family. Family has always been the center of my life and a source of strength, encouragement, and purpose. Whether through my professional service, community involvement, or personal relationships, I strive to leave a positive impact on those around me while remaining faithful to the values that have guided me throughout my life.
Through faith, family, and service, I remain committed to making a difference in my community and helping build a stronger future for the next generation.
